On 18th July, we celebrated Anjali's 1-month bday at e void deck of my in-laws' place. In fact, she was already almost 2 months at that time.. Hehe! Here are some of e pix I took from my cam.. Bestie Izah's Wedding Dinner - 4th July 2009

Finally, one of my besties got married too! Had so much fun with e besties during Izah's wedding! We chose to seat near e dais, or rather, near e wedding cake! And one thing I can never forget from that wedding is when we were enjoying our food, Huda's boyfie, Munzir (hope I got his name right.. heh!), was peeling prawns for us and then POP!! There went e party poppers and e confetti 'snowed' onto us and more importantly, our FOOD!! That's probably one disadvantage when u sit so close to e dais! lol

Poor Munzir wailed, "Oi makanan akuuuu!!!" ("Oi my foooodd!!").. Waaaaaaahahahahahaha!!! Hafiz's relatives started panicking and took our plates away and told us to help ourselves to a second helping. Chey! We thought they'd serve us since they caused e "accident"! Haizz.. I was super-starving but all of us were too paisey to queue up for food again! Haha! Now we're counting on Huda n Zila to get hitched too! Heh! I really hope to meet up with them soon.. Miss them soooo much!!

Busy as a Bee

Sorry for being M.I.A. guys.. Was busy with my exams (thank God it's over!) and stuff.. The past month and a half had been really hectic! Sis-in-law gave birth to a healthy little baby girl named Camila Anjali on 25th May when my in-laws' house was about to be renovated.. We couldn't delay the renovation works so we just carried on with it while my sis-in-law and her baby stayed at her own place till my in-laws' place was ready. My time was spent cleaning up the mess frm e reno works, after which I enjoyed my time with Anjali and the family.. I didn't really have the urge to blog at all.. But now that Anjali's back at her own home, I thought of my blog! Hahaha!!

I promise I'll post pictures of Baby Anjali soon okay! Oh and pictures from Bestie Izah's wedding too!! Congrats babe!! She's in Bali right now enjoying her honeymoon.. -_- Hope us besties will get to hang out together next week!

As for me, I'm soooo looking forward to meeting the lads of LFC!! Apparently, on July 25th, a day before the football match at National Stadium, they'll be on a river cruise which starts from Fullerton Hotel to Liang Court at 1.30pm!! And I'm soooo gonna be there at 9 or 10am! I'm gonna bake a pizza or something so it's like family day cum meeting my DREAMTEAM!! Yes, I've learnt how to bake pizzas and it's super easy I tell u!! Mom-in-law bought a new oven so I decided to bake a pizza to 'test' the oven. Oh and I didn't even use the readymade dough! And I passed on my first attempt okay!! Haha! I'm gonna make durian cupcakes later today.. Hope nothing goes wrong! LoL

Some of you have been asking if I'm actually planning to have a baby.. My answer is YES! Hope I didnt give u a shock! Hehe! Well, I actually didn't want to have one till 2 yrs time but I'll be 25 soon and he'll be 30 so I thought maybe it is time.. And the pressure from people around us sorta contributed to this decision too. And not to mention the sudden "baby boom" from friends and family.. A number of his friends had babies in the past 6 months, my sis-in-law had hers last month and my Cuzzie Nims is due anytime now! So how can I not feel the pressure?? Mom-in-law is even willing to sponsor Hubby and I a trip to Bali! Sweet right? Heh.

Anyways, I'm not actually TRYING yet, just PLANNING.. I went for a pap smear and some checkups to see if there's anything I need to do before trying to conceive and I'm glad there's nothing wrong with me except for that bloody blood problem which I can't do anything about since it's already and will always be in me! Luckily it's just a minor one! But the thing is, Hubby has to get tested to see if he has it too cuz if he does, it might affect our baby. =(

So.. I've been reading a lot on pregnancy lately and done research on which gynae to go to and which hospital I want to deliver at.. I'm also taking supplements and eating healthily which means more salads, yoghurts, milk, veggies, fruits and whichever that wasn't in my "favourite foods" list before.. -_-

I'll start trying once I think my body's ready. But psychologically, I'm really ready to become a mother. I think it's time. =)

Been exactly a week since my last post and I've got exactly 2 more weeks left to study for my business communications paper! After which I'll be "preparing" for the Liverpool match, as in memorizing "You'll Never Walk Alone"; getting a new jersey, new kicks and all.. Hahaha!

Now.. I really have to get something off my chest.. We all know that Man U are the champions for the 3rd consecutive season right.. But if u look at their match last week against Arse at home, do u seriously think they looked like champions?? I mean come on guys.. It's not that I'm just upset about Livepool losing but seriously.. A draw?? Yea that was all they needed to clinch the title but surely they could've done better than that?? They didn't behave like champions at all! They just chose to play it safe and settle for a draw instead of going all out and scoring goals! That's what I think! Anyways, congrats to them but I'm definitely rooting for Barca to win the Champs League! =) Ouh and I really think Tevez should get out of Man U.. If I were Park Ji-Sung/ Ji-Sung Park/ Whateverhisnameis, I'd prefer to leave too! I think that in a club like that, u'd only have chances to play big games if u score goals.. =p

Okiez cookiez, enough about football for now.. I'd like to share a beauty tip.. Would u like to have smooth, fair skin without burning a hole in ur pocket? Well, I've always wanted to start a proper skincare regime but it's either I couldn't afford the cost of it or I didn't think I'd have the time for it.. But now I've found a way to push all those worries aside!! It all started when I noticed that my complexion's getting worse and I had a few pimples at one go and they were at places where I've never gotten pimples before.. That was when I started freaking out and decided that I should really start taking care of my skin! So, last week I tried this.. I cleansed my face with Nivea's Deep Pore Control Cleansing Foam, which I'd strongly recommend if u've got oily skin.. Then I used Nivea's Whitening Toner (got it from Sis), followed by Nivea's Aqua Sensation Anti-shadow Eye Cream (his) and Hazeline Snow's White & Natural Lightening Cream (his). That's it! And I can already feel/see the difference!! My pores are minimized, my complexion's smoother and it's not as dull anymore! I do this before I go to bed and before I put on makeup.. What I really like is that these products are affordable and my makeup stays on much better now and my skin doesn't get oily easily too!! See? Who says u need those branded products to get good complexion?? Go try it for urself if u don't think it's possible! *wink*

Psst: I'm still deciding between lower grandstand and east entrance.. And I've to get the tix tomorrow! Help!!

Friggin' Carrick just had to score in the 85th min.. If he didn't, the score would've been 1-1! Arghh!! Now Man U just need 1 point in order to claim the title! And they've got 2 remaining matches against Arse and Hull.. I don't think they'll lose to Hull so that literally means they'll lift the cup.. -_-

Whatever it is, I'm proud of Liverpool.. They've been great this season and I'll always be a loyal fan.. Win or lose. Really looking forward to meeting them this July.. Cheh.. As if I'm meeting them for coffee or something! lmao

I'm doing okay with my revision right now.. I don't find it that tough anymore, thank God! I'm surprised that I've been studying everyday actually.. haha!

As for the toy I mentioned, it's actually a Canon DSLR.. Heh.. And I'll have 2 other toys as well! Yeahhh!! U'll find out what they are soon enough.. *winks*

Quick Update on What's Happening & What's Not

It's 2am n I'm still awake..
Feelin a lil tired n sleepy but can't get off the web cuz I'm feelin excited about a couple of things..
Researching bout something I plan to do which I shall tell u guys once the plan takes off.. ;)

Really praying hard that Man U will screw up at the last minute and Liverpool will snatch the title away from 'em (which at this point of time, looking at how well Man U are playing, is highly unlikely, but u never know.. *winks*).
Also praying real hard that I'll have a new toy by this week.. =D

Really, really need an effing break from my revision..
Even though I can't afford to but I just need to get out there before I go berserk!!
It's hard when u don't know what exactly to study n what to expect during the exams!!
So... The lesson learnt here is: NEVER SKIP CLASSES!! -_-

I Give Up!!

The semis of the champs league was really upsetting.. Most ppl expected a draw for Arse - Man U and more goals for Chelsea - Barca but it was the other way round!! Man U won 1-3 and Barca made it to the finals with the away goal advantage after scoring a late goal just minutes before the game ended.. It was 1-1! I placed bets for both matches and I lost! Even though it wasn't much, but still??? I will never place bets again man.. I think it's true u know.. Most of the time when I'm right, I'm just giving tips to others.. But when I myself place the bets, I'll lose for sure!! I really think I should wash my hands off gambling.. lol

Performance-wise, Man U were great that morning.. Ronaldo was terrific, even though I can't stand him but yea.. haha.. Arse were all over the place! I thought they'd put up a fight at their homeground but nah.. They couldn't get past Man U's defence! As for Chelsea, I feel that they deserved to go to the finals and I think most people would agree with me on this one. One thing I learnt from today's match is even if a team like Barca could thrash another good team like Real Madrid, it doesn't necessarily mean that they could do the same or play as good as they did against another team.. Barca were crackin' up this morning.. Maybe because Henry didn't play, who knows.. Sure, it'd be great to watch Barca compete with Man U for the title but I just feel that they didn't deserve it. One thing's for sure, Barca were just plain lucky they had the referee on their side! They could've lost just by giving away penalties to Chelsea! No one would believe that the referee unintentionally made mistakes by not awarding Chelsea the penalties they deserved.. I loved watching Ballack and Drogba charging at the referee.. They were furious! Drogba even got a yellow card after the game because he kept ranting at the referee! He even said stuff to the camera but I couldn't really make out what he said.. It was something like the viewers saw what happened and the referee was wrong or something, I dunno.. lol.. I won't be surprised if tomorrow's headlines read, "Ref stomped to death at Stamford Bridge!" waaaahahahahaha!!!

Well, if u watched the match, u'll know what I mean.. If u didn't, go watch the repeat telecasts on ESPN.. 7am, 1pm or 1030pm. And don't forget to get a copy of The New Paper's Noon Edition! Ok then.. I need to go to bed now.. haha.. Can't wait to watch Liverpool this weekend! =)

Oh wait! There's something I really have to say.. If it were Liverpool who were in the position of Arse or Barca, I'm sure they'd put up a fight and make a comeback and would win it in style!! hahahaha!!

Liverpool's still keeping the title hopes alive after a 3-0 victory against relegation-threatened Newcastle. I'm just hoping that they'll win the remaining matches and Man U will screw up theirs.. Against Arsenal and Man City especially. *praying hard*

I'm panicking right now 'cuz I've only got a month left and I'm waaayy behind my revision. It sucks but I've only got myself to blame! Take now for instance.. I can study right.. But noooo.... I chose to surf the net and post this.. Wth..

Anyway, it's Mother's Day this weekend.. Thought of celebrating with my side on Saturday and with his on Sunday. But no one seems to be making any plans yet, for my side that is.. -_-

I'm gonna get a new lappie next mth but I need help in deciding which one to get!! Even though I do some research online like I always do before getting gadgets, but still?? Shall I get Macbook White (just because I sooo wanna own a Mac and it's the cheapest of all Macs.. lol)? Or HP or Lenovo?? Ok ok.. Let me specify what kinda specs I'm looking at..

Looking at notebooks rather than netbooks but has to be thin and light
12-15 inches range
Speed is a very important factor
GOOD battery life
Comes with webcam and bluetooth
Colour doesn't really matter
Budget up to $1K +/- but of course if I'm getting the Macbook, I'd have to part with $1.6K -_-

I was shocked when I read about the Bt Batok double tragedy last night.. It was Faheem, the inquisitive little boy who was one of my closest students in Kumon.. I was trembling when I read it and tears rolled down my cheeks.. How could his dad have the heart to do that to him?? He was only 7 yrs old!! A lot of ppl must be thinking that he shouldn't have done so since he's muslim, and as a muslim u don't commit suicide n all.. But what really prompted him to do that, no one really knows.. It was reported that his dad told his wife that he'd transfer all his properties to her name.. Which means what?? He'd already planned everything??

I can't bear to think of how I'd feel if I was his wife.. To see your loved ones lying there on the ground.. Gawd.. Just the thought of it makes me shudder..

I will never forget u, Faheem.. Each time I think of u, there's a smile on my face.. Hope u're in a good place in Heaven.. Just don't irritate God too much with your silly questions alright.. May your soul rest in peace.. Lots of love from me..

Ok I'm all excited about this piece of good news I just found out but I shall tell u abt it later aite.. Heh..

Like I mentioned in my previous post, I met Sha at Bugis yesterday afternoon.. She was with her classmates at this 'Tong Seng' coffeeshop which I never knew of.. (-_-) Her classmates are also those siao-siao type like us and all the while I was listening to their stories and laughing along, I felt young again, seriously.. hahaha

After that, we parted and Sha and I proceeded to NLB to study. Stupid lappie of mine kept getting weaker by the minute! Argghh! Not sure if it's just my lappie or it's really like that with almost all the other lappies around.. And u know what, my stupid tummy decided to get weak as well! U can literally hear it growling, I swear! haha.. C'mon la it's the library what.. *rolls eyes* Sha heard it but she thought it was comin from someone else!! Ouh and this ah-pek farted and it wasn't just a short one okay, it was like... Er, I can't really explain how it sounded like but it was like quite long one lorr! Just imagine..... Waaaakakakakaka!!

And bcuz my stupid tummy couldn't stop rumbling, we moved on to BK at Raffles City.. There, we talked about this guy friend of Sha (kening naik2) and I feel that I really have to meet him someday.. The way she described him I tell u... So funny siaaaaa!!! hahahaha He's like the shy type who doesn't know how to make a move on girls and expects the girl to get what he's trying to hint at.. lol

We left at 8 cuz I was too tired and sleepy to walk around.. Watched Idol at home and daaangg.. Adam Lambert is hawt or whutttt...!! Gawwd.. That song must've melted lots of girls' hearts, especially Paula's I bet!! =D

Ok time for the good news.. It's good news to me la but not sure about u guys.. Heh.. Wait for it.. Wait for it...

Didn't really have the mood to blog lately.. Prolly cuz I'd have to update on champs league and BPL.. Yeah yeah.. Liverpool are out of the Champs League and this morning they drew 4-4 with Arsenal in BPL! Damn.. I really hope Man U will screw up the remaining BPL matches. After all, they lost to Everton in the FA Cup recently and they've lost to small teams numerous times before too! Hopefully they'll want to concentrate more on Champs League and they'll be too tired to play BPL matches cuz of their tight schedule.. lolx

Ok ok.. Enough about football for now. I'm meeting Cuzzie Sha later at Bugis for a study date! But somehow I've got the feeling that we'll be concentrating more on other stuffs like talkin crap and camwhoring! hahaha

I didn't think Liverpool would lose 1-3 at home.. Seriously. Miracles can happen but Chelsea has a 2-goal lead now.. Liverpool really needs more than just pure luck and miracles if they wanna go to the semis! They've always focused on the Champs League.. This is just the 1st leg of the q-finals! I don't know what went wrong, I didn't watch the match..

But if Liverpool doesn't make it to the semis, I really hope Barca would lift the cup.. =D

BPL News

I know this may come a little late but I still feel like bloggin' about it anyways..

Back to Saturday night.. Watched part of Newcastle-Chelsea at a coffeeshop, Chelsea was leading 0-1, thought the match would end up in a draw but fck!! When I got hm and checked, Chelsea won 0-2! Arsenal won 2-0 against Man City too and Liverpool.. My oh my, I was literally at the edge of my seat most of the time during the match! I watched it alone at home.. -_-

I have to admit though, Fulham did great that night! Now I can understand why Man U could lose 2-0 to them.. Liverpool had a hard time going past their defence and when they did, which was like 3 or 4 times, the ball would just hit the bar! WTF?!! So suay man..

I thought of going to bed at half-time cuz I was so friggin sleepy I dont know why but I decided to keep watching till the end. At 90 mins, it was still 0-0.. I was restless! I was chewing on my nails and fidgeting in my seat. 4mins of injury time.. I was really hoping for a miracle.. Liverpool canNOT afford to lose anymore matches. Then at 92 mins, Yossi Benayoun SCORED!! OMG I was soooo relieved! I jumped and threw the cushion into the air!! I couldn't scream cuz it was already 2am and people were sleeping.. lol

It sure felt good to see Liverpool at the top of the table although it was only for a short while 'cuz Man U won 3-2 against Villa on Sunday and reclaimed the top spot.. Friggin Macheda scored the winner just minutes before the game ended! -_- But u know what?? Man U played like fck that nite, seriously! Im not being biased here but if u watched the match u'd agree wit me.. I think Villa performed better. heh

With a 1 point lead and a game in hand, Im really hoping that Man U will mess up the remaining matches and Liverpool will go on a winning streak! Wooohoooo!! Ouh and as for the Champs League, it was a draw game for Man U vs Porto, 2-2, as well as Arse vs Villareal, 1-1. Big match tomorrow morning, Liverpool vs Chelsea!! What do U think the final score will be? ^_^
